Karen Flores is a 20-something-year-old critical care nurse from the Philippines presently based in the UK.
In 2011, she graduated cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas where she took up a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She passed the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examinations the same year, ranking 9th among all successful examinees. She began her profession as a neuro/ surgical intensive care nurse and acute stroke unit nurse with St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City and in 2014, started working as a general critical care nurse in London.
Living away from home, she’s had the opportunity to explore the world with freedom and enthusiasm. She hopes to share her captured memories with individuals who appreciate art, photography, travel, and the celebration of life and of God.
She shoots using Fujifilm, a compact (and sadly, outdated) Fujifilm XT10 (but still works!) with a Fujinon 56mm F1.2 that almost never leaves its body. Inspired by Tricia Gosingtian, Zhang Jingna (zemotion) and Pat Dy.
